Biblical ages and the development of human consciousness

More heart, please

I had a recent discussion with a Twitter follower. She told me that she enjoyed my articles but wanted more heart to go along with the contemplation. Sadly, I wasn’t able to give her what she craved.

Fortunately, there is an author on Twitter with the handle @Rev_RolandUMC. Reverend Roland satisfied her need for a Jesus wrapped in warm fuzzies while I continued to give her my version of Jesus together with the sensation one gets when a new synaptic connection is formed.

Reverend Roland has it easy because, quite simply, Christianity is the religion of love, or to be more exact, of the higher emotions.

Astrotheological ages redux

As I have written about in an earlier article, each Biblical age corresponds to an astrological age. Christianity was the primary religion of Western civilization during the Age of Pisces. The zodiac sign of Pisces is ruled by Jupiter which is the planet corresponding to the higher emotions. During this age, God was both father and son bound together in a bloody ritual of mercy and sacrifice.

The previous age was that of Aries, ruled by Mars, which corresponds to the lower emotions. The nature of God during that period was that of a jealous, vengeful god.

Planetary chakras

We should probably start at the beginning and work our way up. Be advised that the following system of planetary chakras is of my own making.

The Age of Leo

We start at the Age of Leo, which corresponds to when Adam and God ruled the world. This was around 13,000 years ago. This was a golden age for the hunter. On the image above, the symbol for the Sun is at the position of the genitals. It was the Sun that was pushing back the glaciers and opening the land for grazing animals.

This was the time of man when he reigned supreme, with endless grasslands filled with game. Adam was God’s favorite creature. God love-bombed Adam for two thousand years of bliss.

The Age of Cancer

Cancer is ruled by the Moon. Eve becomes the main character. This is the age of the nurturing mother with a focus on what can be eaten and what should be avoided. It is also the chakra of motherhood.

The Age of Gemini

The next age is that of Gemini, the twins. It corresponds to the Biblical period beginning with the births of Cain and Abel.

This age was ruled by the planet Mercury. On the diagram of the chakra, this stage is symbolized by the throat chakra.

The throat chakra is the locus of the rational mind and the sounds produced by the vocal cords. And projected through the use of breath or spirit. This is the center of the lower intellect. It is concerned with communication, map reading, and logical thought.

This age was concerned with the development of language and various technologies. It was about refining forms of communication and record-keeping. This age ran from Cain and Abel to the fall of the Tower of Babel.

The Age of Taurus

This was followed by the Age of Taurus, ruled by Venus. The chakra for Venus is the third eye, located in the center of the forehead. This is the region of the mammalian brain that has grown over the reptilian brain.

This is the age of breeding programs with hidden agendas. This age stretches s from Abraham to Joseph, when the focus was on the development of various bloodlines.

Venus is the goddess of breeding programs, but she also rules the domain of the physical arts such as dance, theatre, and seduction. Her chakra is identified as the location of both the sexual center and imagination.

The Age of Aries

We have made our way back to the Age of Aries, ruled by Mars.

The Mars chakra is in the center of the solar plexus.

This is the lower emotional center. It is the Biblical age beginning with the birth of Moses and ends with the publication of the Septuagint.

During this age, God was personified as a jealous, vengeful God who was overly concerned with laws and their enforcement.

The Age of Pisces

Then came the age of Pisces, ruled by Jupiter.

This age stretches from the completion of the Septuagint to the start of the First World War. In the chakra diagram, it can be seen that this chakra is located is centered just beneath the nose. The best way to activate this center is to raise your nose up in the air so that your chin is level with your ears. This allows you to better smell those around you so as to determine their social standing.

The higher emotional center is concerned with the emotions that developed during those stages of evolution when one is a member of a larger community. So those forms of behavioral imprinting that allow a single fish to become one with a school of fish or for a bird to merge with a flock of birds.

These are the emotions of love and the bitter joy that comes from sacrificing for those we love, or if you rather, for those who are affiliated with the same symbols that we identify with.

These higher emotions have their home in the reptilian brain.

This is the arena that Christianity has truly made it's own. Two thousand years of experimentation in activating the higher emotional center through ritualized dramas enacted in churches designed to elicit grandiose feelings of spine-tingling awe.

Christianity excels in the art of reminding people of the love that binds all of us. God loves us so much that He sacrificed the life of his only son, which is another way of saying that He loves us so much that He sacrificed Himself for us.

Like when Neo allowed Agent Smith to infiltrate his very being so that the machines could then electrocute his body in order to destroy the virus. He did all that to save Zion. Neo is the One.

The Age of Aquarius

What comes next? The Age of Aquarius started around 1914 with the first attempt at a truly global war. Aquarius is traditionally ruled by Saturn, the planet of karma and bad luck.

This is the age in which we currently find ourselves, as various systems are teetering on the edge of collapse. In the chakra diagram, this is the crown chakra, at the top of the head. This is the center of the higher intellect.

I like to tell myself that the secret teachings that I am bringing to light have been designed to develop and strengthen our higher intellect. Just as the rituals and teachings of the Church were designed to develop and strengthen our higher emotional center during the Piscean Age.

The higher intellect is more of a General Systems type of intellect formed from a healthy recognition of patterns and a willingness to slide down a slippery cascade of if-then conditionals towards something I call Chryptianity.
