Check Out These New Writers Making Waves

It seems that here on Medium recently, many writers are focused on how to get 100 followers so they can make money. I’ve never been a writer like that. I am more interested in being recognized as a thought leader. This approach has served me well, and as an editor for ILLUMINATION, I have taken the opportunity to follow, interact with and recognize writers that are not just here for the money. Three writers I’ve come across recently that make me want to visit Medium and read stories rather than use other media choices like YouTube or Netflix are Sonam, Rene Espinosa, and Jpharoahdoss.

Sonam is a fairly new writer on Medium. In this teenagers first four months, they have written impressive stories about being professional, Punctuality Means More Than Just Starting on Time, vulnerability, Crying is My Superpower, and self-development, Meet the Nocebo Effect — the Infamous Twin of the Placebo Effect… Sonam has not written anything new recently, but maybe some claps and follows will encourage them to come back.

René Espinosa is from the Philippines and is also a new writer here on Medium. His writing provides insights into life there and the human experience no matter where you live. His writing truly touches my heart.
