Channeling Negative Energy Into Productivity

I can’t control what happens, but I can control how I respond

Why I Clean

I like to clean when I am frustrated, angry, or upset. It makes me feel productive. When I see the results, it makes me feel better. Instant gratification!

I can procrastinate till the day is long….until I am upset. So, when someone gets my goat, it works to my advantage because I accomplish a lot.

Don’t entertain negative energy. Some situations will test your patience and try to make you overreact, over think, and respond to things that don’t deserve your life force. Your attention is your power. Don’t feed what doesn’t add value to your life. Conserve your energy. ~Idil Ahmed

Channelling Negative Energy

We cannot be positive all the time. I believe in a positive growth mindset, but even I have bad days. The important part is how I channel that energy.

I never take my bad mood or energy out on other people.

Instead, I like to use the energy to be productive. It’s kind of like fuel. It propels me into gear to get small tasks accomplished I may have otherwise put off. Now, the bad energy is converted into good energy.

Final Thoughts

Everything is temporary. It is all in the approach we take to life that determines our outcome. I know that if I walk around with a chip on my shoulder, it will just weigh me down. So, instead, I brush it off and keep moving forward, looking for the silver lining.

I cannot control what happens in life, but I can control how I respond. I choose to respond with grace. To rise to each occasion and do the best I can with it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. You are amazing. I would love for you to subscribe to my YouTube Channel where I share short daily videos on Emotional Intelligence, relationships, guided meditations, and yoga.
