EDITOR’S PICK-2

Can You Spread Good Vibes Through The Language Of Love?

Caring for each other and creating good vibes is love

Photo- Author’s own collection

Hello, friends readers, and writers,

I am a firm believer that we can spread good vibes by sending a sweet message to another person with love rather than by complaining always.

I wish to send good vibes to all my friends for sending me loving messages and making me feel so special during the week.

How have you been this week? I have missed you all a lot. This week was so cold in Delhi that my friends from Canada and the USA and UK, where it is much colder than it is in New Delhi sent me messages comforting me and asking me to take care to be warm and settle down before a heater. This was such a sweet thing to say.

In New Delhi, there was a night curfew and a weekend curfew due to Omicron. All restaurants were closed and shops opened according to their numbers. On day odd and the next day even-numbered shops. It was dull and I was missing going out.

#1. My friend sent me the above picture to remind me of the wonderful time we had together just before Omicron settled in. This picture of a special greeting sent such good vibes. I felt the love of my friend surge in my heart. Can you feel the good vibes too from the photo above? I hope you receive love and good vibes too.

#2My granddaughter's pets Lola and Momo sent me hugs and asked me to visit them but I did not go. I stayed at home and thought of all of you. Look at their language of love. It brought strong happy vibes to me.

Today the sun came out and I am feeling nice and bright and ready to wish you lots of love and lots of brightness and happiness with sunshine in your life.

#3. I went across to the local market and the new ‘chaiwallah’ (Tea stall in Hindi) He insisted and said “Madam I made this lemon tea with love and want you to have it. Don’t give me money if you don’t like it but try it and give me your blessings, I have opened this new tea stall”.

His language of love stirred strong pleasant vibes and I thought that I must try his tea. I did. It was excellent.

A new type of tea with black salt, spices, and lime. He calls it lemon tea. You can all try to make it at home. I did and this was the recipe given below that I used.

I put ginger and cardamom in water and boiled it and when ready put some black salt and lime. It does not require any milk like most Indian teas and it was delicious.

So many loving messages! The language of love certainly spread good vibes around me.

The editors pick for this week (22th -28th Jan 2022)

Now I must tell you that I was hungry for reading stories of this week and I have picked some interesting stories as my picks for this week. I enjoyed these stories and hope you will do too.

  1. Liberty Forrest, Author wrote a wonderful story about having a snake as a pet. His name is Bob. If you read the first part you cannot leave without reading all the six parts. It is truly a love affair of a different kind. If you do not like snakes you will be compassionate towards them after reading this story.

2. Donnette Anglin feels that you should never bend down and do something wrong in your life. Keep your neck and head up when you deal with difficult people in your life. This truly brings respect from other people

3. Janet Meisel talks about vegetarianism. She does not like to eat anything that has a face. She has expressed her feelings and emotions in this post

As is customary let me add the shout outs to some writers whose posts I enjoyed reading this week:

I would like to give a shout-out to a very witty writer Riaz Laskar. You read the story of how he is going to take a cold shower and decide for yourself as to how witty he is.

Another shout out to Monoreena Acharjee Majumdar is a wonderful artist and poet. I am enamored with her beautiful paintings and lovely words. Read on

To conclude

I encourage you all to spread good vibes through the language of love.

My advice is if you are not happy with someone for some reason, send them good vibes through the language of love.

Make friends through spreading love and good vibes.

Caring for each other and creating good vibes is love.

Sending you all love until next week

Thanking my team members Winston, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Yana Bostongirl, Sharing Randomly, Drashti Shroff, Marrisa W., and Vincent Van Patten for their wonderful support always.
