Can You Find a Butterfly?
It flew close to me.

I wondered which photo to use to make a black and white photo — a photo story challenge from B.R. Shenoy.
After listening to the story and looking at the photo, I thought about using a photo taken outside.
And this one (the featured photo).
I made it black and white from a color one.
It was a delightful moment.
My mom called me to look at the butterfly that flew in front of her. I then came to check and attempted to take a photo, if it still stayed there, I thought.
It was staying there.
Can you find it in the photo? It’s in the middle.
Even it’s in the black and white photo. I can tell the softness from the contour of the wings.
Right after I took the picture, it started moving, flew near the ground, around the grass, and then started to fly higher and higher to my height. It flew closer and closer to me. So I reached out my hand, making my index finger vertically like a stick for it to stop by if it wanted.
It just checked around and flew away. I could have opened my hand, making it easier to stop if this butterfly wanted to.
It was going to make a corner and fly away, but I turned back and had a last look, and it flew back to me a little. I thought it was adorable :)
