”Black and white creates a strange dreamscape that color never can.” — Jack Antonoff

I wanted to try something new for this photo essay, so I settled on a black and white theme.

Black and white photographs have a classic and timeless appeal. They make me nostalgic and yearn for simpler times.

Black and white photography restores the art form to its original and pure state without the transformation provided by modern editing. By removing color from the image, black and white editing allows viewers to focus on the subject, textures, shapes and patterns, and composition.

The appeal of black and white photography is that it can be used to produce powerful results in a variety of situations.
