Can I Call Myself a Writer?

Poetry prompt

Photo by Hello I'm Nik on Unsplash

There was a time under the silver rain and the cloudy sky when the sheets of my notepads were blank all I had were some thoughts that I was unable to manifest It was clear that I needed to take some action if I wanted to write an art that has always attracted me yet was unknown to me I vowed to make an effort with the available resources and then I worked hard to finesse my skills to give wings to my dreams

Now the question arises can I call myself a writer? please don’t roll your eyes if I am not making any sense but I have figured out the ways to translate my thoughts and convey them to you by settling myself in the seat of my soul from the idea generation to the content creation I am engaged in blazing the light from within and showing the path to others I polish my pieces so that they may shine bright like a treasure

I display my valuable emotions by releasing them to the world in the choicest of words I spark the senses of my readers and make my experiences count by echoing them in my stories

Can I call myself a writer yet? I don’t know if it’s too early to claim that title But one thing I know that I am trying my best to write that is a humbling process and a sweating endeavor

I am sharing my truth for a reassuring nod that yes, you are at least moving in the right direction until then I will keep trying keep writing because I know It’s a journey and we attract what we believe.
