The poem underscores the detachment of some students who forget the humanity of the cadavers, making light of the bodies' exposure. The author appeals for respect towards these silent teachers, acknowledging the invaluable contribution they make to the education of future physicians and surgeons, often at the cost of their own lives. The piece concludes with a salute to those who choose to donate their bodies for educational purposes.

Careless of anyone around

Soulless bare body of human lying on the stainless steel table waiting to be cut open to let future physician or surgeon learn the insitu position and anatomy of every human organ

Fearless medical students make deep incision on the senseless skin of fellow man to expose fatty tissues and muscles to trace the course of arteries and nerves

Heartless some students forget the cadaver was once a living human and still a beloved husband, father or a son

And make fun of its exposed body just for the sake of making fun

A humble request — Do not disrespect that invaluable service he renders to you for free at the cost of his life…

My salute to people who donate their bodies to medical colleges for education purpose.
