“Looking good this morning. Fun weekend?”

“As fun as one might imagine being stuck in the house with a couple of cranky kids because it won’t stop raining. But we had some fun.”

“You seem preoccupied. Quarter for your thoughts there, Hun.”

“You mean penny for my thoughts.”

“Inflation. Am I right?”

“Ok. I thought you might remember that I really don’t appreciate when you call me ‘Hun.’ After two years working together, I thought you might actually call me by my name which, in case you forgot, is Dr. Flynn.”

“East coast broads. Here’s a dollar. Keep the change.”

Thanks so much for reading. This is my first Drabble!
