Breaking the Hierarchy: How Humans and Knowledge Defy the Laws of the Universe

The most permanent features of the biological landscape is the existence of the hierarchy. — And that’s roughly portrayed in religious mythology as culture or explored territory or the known (order)

When observing Earth from a distant galaxy, it becomes evident that the planet has defied the laws of hierarchy. The appearance of life on Earth had a significant impact, going against — “the hierarchy rule” which states that larger and more energetic entities have a greater influence on smaller and less energetic ones, but not the other way around.

Although the hierarchy rule is often considered a universal principle, it is not a fundamental law of nature. Rather, it is a coincidental aspect of the early universe up until now. — However, this rule was broken four billion years ago with the emergence of life on Earth. This event, which occurred within a single molecule, was not the only violation of the hierarchy rule. The true defiance came with the emergence of photosynthesis.

Such a vast breaking of these rules is impressive, however, it is nothing compared to what people can achieve with the power of imagination and knowledge. — Unlike biological evolution, which is limited in its ability to generate knowledge, humans have the power to create and spread knowledge across the universe, potentially even the multiverse.

To truly understand the universe, we must understand humans and the knowledge we possess. Humans are central to the universe. — We cannot truly understand the universe without understanding humans, people, minds, or what may take our place.

The knowledge we create can travel from one planet to another and completely transform it, contrary to the hierarchy we have seen in the old universe. The principles of knowledge spread due to its usefulness. — Knowledge can reside in our DNA and genes, and the helpful and accurate genes get replicated not only in the universe but also possibly in the multiverse.

While all the series of misconceptions still a common sense to us, we would have to look in to the deepest theories such as — Theory of knowledge (epistemology), Theory of evolution, Quantum theory and Theory of computation to just get glimpse of the fabric of life.

But again those have been wonderful tools but only science of our Space and Time interface. Go figure ;)

People are a kind of hub. We are, so far as we know, our sole place in the universe is creating knowledge, an open-ended stream of knowledge that could transform the rest of reality.

Our understanding of the universe is limited by our evolutionary physiology. We have evolved over millions of years to be loyal to around a hundred people we know personally. — We are wired to prioritize the well-being of a small group of people we know personally, rather than the entire human population.

It is fear of a common enemy that is often used to bring people together under a nationalistic point of view. Now, our common enemies consist of nuclear war, climate change and technological disruption, thus calling us to be more united than ever before.

With the power of technology, we have the ability to create a paradise or a hell on Earth. — We are on the brink of creating our first inorganic entities, surpassing what was once thought to be the work of gods. This power comes with great responsibility, and it is up to us to use it for good rather than harm.

In the vastness of the multiverse, there are many paths to being wrong, but only a few to being right. The right paths tend to be repeated, showing that truth is universal. — As individuals, we should strive to be the version of ourselves that is successful in the most instances of the multiverse.

Wealth is the set of all transformations that one is capable of bringing about. — Knowledge is the true wealth, and with optimism, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
