Breaking News: External Views Matter(?)

April’s fool, you all know. What a solar eclipse can do is still a mystery to many. Let’s see if the changes I’ve found in my stats contradict the previous article I wrote on external views, and confirm the power of astronomic phenomena.

The indagated article is “The Soul’s Code”. I wrote it on the 22nd of April 2022, exactly one year ago according to the last earnings stats I was checking on my device in April 2023.

April’s earnings total $1.88, which is an incredible amount if you consider there were only 2 internal reads. Where does the money come from and for what? Is the number of external views influential to the total amount earned?

I am honestly not good at Medium’s math.

Notice the following.

The lifelong earnings of the story are $4.98, with 624 views and 2min.14sec. reads.

April’s earnings are $1.88, with 91 views and 1min.27sec. reads.

Are we getting paid more than in the past? Or do we get a bonus if the story still gets read after one year? What about external views?

Sorry not to provide more evidence. I need to understand how to shorten these big photos and I thought not to replenish this space with another five of them. Working on my technical not ability.:)

Any kind comment on the matter is heartedly welcome.

Also tell me, is April’s solar eclipse relatable to some changes here? I think getting whopping traction after one year is a great success!
