Bracingly Breezy Reflections From a Finger-Numbing Morning Walk
A recipe for happiness

“It’s sunny I will go for a walk on the ridge,” she said! “There’s only a bit of breeze!”
Moments later, I was pulling the hood of my windproof down jacket up, over my warm, woolly hat and fastening the poppers that held it in place.
I clenched my fingers into fists and pulled my hands inside the snuggly sleeves of my coat.
This is the first winter that I have owned a dog. And hence, the first winter in which bracing walks will be non-negotiable.
Ginger has given me the excuse to stay fit and move my body every day. As Kristina God shared, this is a recipe for happiness.
These daily walks invigorate and refresh my mind.
They help me to build a habit of happiness.
