Bottomless Pit
The constant effort in trying to fill nothingness
Why do I think I can Be whole when I Keep filling my soul With black holes Life can be bright as a Supernova Or darker than space In a void that’s so cold Feeding and binging I still feel empty Hidden seeds get Planted That torment and Tempt me The question that you Ask yourself is what am I Escaping?
Temporary dopamine Dreams turn to Nightmares When you Awaken Then you feel vacant How did I get here?
In a place that’s between Euphoria and fear Pain and joy Anger and laughter Storms turn into Beautiful rainbows I’m tired of numbing My disasters There’s nothing in this World Like opening your eyes
Rested and hopeful Watching the sunrise Nothing in this world
Like clouds and a blue Sky Cool morning walks Are my natural high Nothing can ever Replace when you’re You’re beneath Then you’re above
No drug on this planet Can replace a woman’s
Genuine love
There’s nothing in this World like your purpose And self esteem When you start a new Day That’s your chance to be
Redeemed Vices come in many forms
Hurt and seduction Creates fiends On the hamster wheel Of hell What is sacred turns into the
Obscene When it’s had it’s way With you You’re spiritless and Listless Only God
Can fill Abysses.
