Born At The Right Time

Thank You Notes #19

Born at the instant The church bells chime And the whole world whispering Born at the right time -Paul Simon

Yesterday was my son’s thirteenth birthday. It was a beautiful day of celebration, just for him.

I remember the day he was born. He decided to wait until the right time.

The day before his birth, my husband and I went to the hospital as I started to feel labor pains. We waited, talked to the nurse and doctor, and ultimately went home for the night. It was not yet time.

The next day we returned, feeling like the timing was right.

After more than eight hours, our son was born. His eyes were bright, full of life, and looking around at us. He was alert and ready to meet the world.

It was the right time.

Just like our son waited until the right moment to come into his life on Earth, each of us was born at the right time to do something extraordinary.

I have an overwhelming feeling that each of us who is alive today is meant to be here. It may feel like the worst time in history to be on this planet, with all the problems arising every day.

However, I see the light in each of you.

We were born to use our creativity to find solutions. Each of us has the key to unlock the full potential of this beautiful planet.

If we choose to work together, we can create miracles.

Let us rise up and be solution-oriented. As writers, we have the power of words on our side. I cannot wait to see what you create at the right time.

We are celebrating 170 followers!

Thank you to our wonderful writers and readers for their support!

The theme for this week is:

The moment a new idea was born in your world.

We are excited to read your stories, essays, and poems on creativity and ideas being born in your lives.

A personal note from your editor and biggest cheerleader:

I will be taking some time off the rest of this week from my personal writing. I will still be here to edit, read and cheer on your stories.

I love to support all of you!

However, I will take a break from my own writing in order to get my son ready for school, refresh my home and spirit for the coming fall season.

It is the right time for a little break from writing so that I can start stronger than ever next week.

I look forward to reading your stories this week my dear friends!
