Born as brown I grew up without a crown

struggle has been real

I did not have a choice where I wanted to be born It could have been The US, Australia, or Japan but it happened in Pakistan

Someone else chose my name nationality, religion and every rule of the game

The upbringing style early schooling and everything on my file poverty or wealth sickness or health Until I had travelled my mile

White, yellow, or black I could have been castle of glass’s crack Born as brown without much voice and privilege I grew up without a crown

Always discriminated by my name colour, religion, background passport and nationality At the airport a random check-up always became a formality

But I kept going on flew high and fell down Going through the pain I gained some fame Learnt humility and built my capability

Gratitude to all who supported me Even when I was nothing But small Cheers to ISB, KL, DXB, and Melbourne for helping me grow under the rain and the sun

So listen, my friend where someone is from doesn’t matter in the end Everybody, in some way, is an immigrant Don’t judge me or the others so fast support the strangers and keep calm.
