Boring Folks Are Amazing. Let Me Tell You Why.
Do you truly believe that you are boring? I doubt. Do not confuse what others say with what we think about ourselves.
Do you truly believe that you are boring? I doubt. Do not confuse what others say with what we think about ourselves. There are many reasons others think we are boring. We might think that we lead an exciting life for the same reasons.
There are 3 reasons I believe boring folks are amazing. Let me share with you.
Reason 1: They Discover Crazy Laws of Nature.
Issac Newton was branded a sociopath. Actually, that is just one way of saying that he is darn boring.
People ignored him.
Thank God he was boring. Otherwise, we would not have understood the Laws of Motion. And there wouldn’t be an Industrial Revolution.
Reason 2: They Lose Small, Win Big.
Albert Einstein is another boring fart.
Many of his friends said he enjoyed speaking to himself.
Of course. Who in their right minds talks about Calculus and Theoretical Physics?
That is why he won the 1921 Nobel Prize for photoelectric effect while we snap photos with our smartphones.
Reason 3: They See What We Do Not.
I cannot see electricity. Michael Faraday did.
He conducted Christmas lectures in the 19th Century, dazzling the world with his discovery.
On the other hand, my mum tells me to beware of power sockets.
You are not boring.
When people say you are boring, they are actually just saying that you are unlike them. That is really it.
It does not mean you are boring!
