Better Sex | 5 Hints To Boost Your Testosterone Level Naturally
Discover these habits to help you become healthier and stronger.

You may have heard that testosterone is a man’s hormone. But it’s true for women too. Testosterone is a hormone that is responsible for a number of things in both men and women, including muscle mass, bone density, and sex drive. But this hormone can decline as you age. Or it can be low for reasons that have nothing to do with age. It’s not a death sentence, though. There are plenty of ways to naturally increase your testosterone levels. Don’t worry, that doesn’t involve injecting yourself with steroids.
I’ll introduce you to five easy ways to boost your testosterone level naturally. But before let’s understand how to know if you have a low testosterone level.
Signs you have a low testosterone level
- lack of will to achieve something (work or feat)
- lack of sexual wishes
- lack of fantasies and dreams
- lack of resilience against stress
- low immune system
- low strength and high cortisol levels
If you have these signs, don’t worry. You need to change your lifestyle following these important ideas.
Get Enough Sleep.
The number one hint that I gave you is to get enough sleep. For guys, sleep is a really crucial factor in maintaining their testosterone levels. You may be surprised by that. But many many hormones in the brain are produced during the nighttime. So when the brain thinks that it’s nighttime it actually produces special hormones. Testosterone is one of these hormones. I would advise you to aim for at least seven hours of quality sleep a night. I know this sounds like a lot but it’s really important in terms of maintaining your testosterone levels.
I know you’ve probably heard this before but it’s so important to turn off your tablet your phone and your computer at least an hour before you go to bed. If you have your phone on besides your bedtime your brain still thinks it’s daylight and may not produce adequate levels of testosterone.
Maintain a healthy weight
The second point is to maintain a healthy weight. This is self-explanatory as it sounds. Basically, guys who are overweight inhibit their own production of testosterone because they have too many fat cells in their body, unfortunately. The same is true for guys who are underweight. They’re not taking enough fat into their body to produce testosterone. So maintaining weight is the second piece of advice to boost your testosterone level.
Ensure that fat is part of your diet
Increase the amount of fat in your diet. I know for so many years you’ve been hearing “fat is bad, fat is bad” but actually we now know that anything in moderation including fat is actually really good for you and you need fat in your body to produce testosterone.
Examples of good fat would be monosaturated fats such as olive oil, rapeseed oil, avocados. Any nuts, peanuts, or peanut butter. Saturated fats are really good for you but in moderation. Dark chocolate and real butter have saturated fats. These are necessary for certain quantities. Don’t worry about increasing the fat in your diet.
Exercise regularly
The fourth piece of advice is to boost your testosterone level is to exercise regularly. Testosterone is really important as a hormone. It controls your muscles and bones. It is involved in your metabolism. So if you are not doing much physical activity, your brain is telling your body that you don’t need a lot of testosterone so, in return, it doesn’t produce much testosterone.
But when you exercise your brain is telling your body that you’re taking exercise and your body will produce testosterone as a result of that.
It’s really important to remember though that excessive exercise also shuts down the production of testosterone. There’s no favor to taking excessive exercise. Thirty minutes of exercise, three or four times a week would be ideal.
Control stress level
This can sound too simple and general advice but lots of people don’t realize that when you're stressed or feeling anxious or sad your body produces lots of stress hormones. Negative hormones called cortisol.
If you have lots of cortisol your testosterone level drops.
So it’s actually really important that you take time to do stuff that you enjoy. Do exercise, watch movies, whatever you enjoy. Decrease the stress level of your body. Decrease cortisol naturally growing testosterone.
Conclusion
Boosting testosterone level doesn't sound complicated, isn’t it? We just need to create the relevant environment so our body produces the right amount of testosterone. Enough sleep, healthy weight, fat-rich diet, exercises, and stressless life are essentials for our testosterone. But of course, there are thousands of different ways to boost testosterone. I’ve covered the basics.
