Boogie Back to Normal
In response to a writing prompt

I was tagged by Susan Brearley with a writer’s prompt. And I accepted the challenge to use the word Boogie.
I woke from a dream, feeling fancy and free, Ready to boogie to town. Then I remembered the state of events, I had to stay home on Lockdown.
So, I rolled back over, and covered my head, A few more dreams, perchance. No concern about how many feet, We all held hands in a dance.
But sleep was over, the day had begun, Dreaming was put on hold. I turned on the news, let out a groan, Then followed the rules being told.
I vacuumed floors, and scrubbed shelves, Until my muscles groaned. If I could only time travel, Or have my body cloned.
I’d take a little trip - not far. Or, yes, maybe into space. And come back with the needed cure, To save our human race.
But reality is, what it is today, I’m forced to stay at home.
YET
Just knowing that you’re doing the same Makes me feel, not so alone.
Your mission, Leslie Wibberley, if you so accept, is to use the word BAMBOOZLE
