POETRY
From Social Media to Social Distancing
A Poem for These Trying Times

Social meant getting together. And talking face to face, Then it meant connecting, Across time and place.
Now it means to stay away, Six feet far is best. Better if you hug east, And your friend stays to the west.
Use your TP sparingly, Four squares per day. Wash hand frequently, Scrub that layer away.
Sanitize your keyboard, Your dog, your cat, your fish. Ensure that your dreams are clean, And make a spotless wish.
I know we can do this. Our health is at stake. Read, write, dance. Watch Netflix and bake.
And when it’s all over. Just think how you’ll feel. Healthly, happy & free. Distance is really no big deal!
Stay Healthy!
