Lately I’ve been thinking about getting a Bonsai tree.

This majestic tree takes great care to keep it beautiful and healthy in order to show its grandeur for many years to come.

After some research I decided to write here some tips that I found on the internet that seemed appropriate when taking care of this beautiful tree.

Watering

  • Check your soildaily and water when appears dry .
  • Avoid watering a routine.
  • Put your bonsai on a place that have sunlight but avoid direct sun exposition.

Pruning

  • Pruning should be done regularly to maintain the shape.
  • Snipping away branches, buds and leaves.
  • Wire branches to put it in the desire shape.

Soil and fertilize

  • Mix large particles such as vulcânicrocks or stones into de soil to improve drenage.
  • Add clay to improve water retention.
  • Only add fertilizer after watering.

I’m thinking about a bonsai for next month and buying all the tools to prune it! I’m super anxious and excited, also afraid of something going wrong.
