The old sorcerer is too far away to prevent your escape. You run for the trees as fast you can, and break into the forest in a matter of minutes.

You come to a clearing and try to catch your breath. Head pounding, heart racing, you look back through the tree line and wait for any signs of Lorenzo’s pursuit.

Nearly a minute passes without any trace of the wizard, but you still can’t relax. In fact, your heart seems to be beating steadily faster and faster!

You collapse to the ground and gasp for air as your heart hammers away.
