No wasted days, no regrets, just an endless party until the last breath…

“She died doing what she loves… swearing profusely” — Anonymous

If I am going down, I least want to fight back. No wasted days, no regrets, just an endless party until the last breath and then I hope to move that good time to a forever destination.

We have little choice as to how we die but we do have endless choices on how we choose to live. In these dark times of uncertainty and negativity, I do not want to leave this world with things undone.

I want every “I love you” answered, I want the ones I love to know I cared, I want my friends to celebrate my life with one more drink and I want to die doing what I love.

I want to die with one last glass of wine, one last poem written and holding the hand of the only woman ever prepared to put with a perpetual child who has a hard time accepting his age

He died doing what he loved… he died a writer of nonsense and a motivator of those who needed a combination of love and the occasional finger in the chest while being told to get moving and stop whining.

The Cultural Prompt for July is simple:

“She died doing what she loved doing….”

Each contribution should include, at the bottom, a link to this prompt at as well as three mandatory tags: ‘Blue Insights’, ‘Cultural Prompts’, and ‘Writing Prompts’.
