Blaze Against the Dying of the Light

A Prism & Pen Writing Prompt

I don’t know anything about “magic powder” to create rainbow bonfires, but apparently it’s a thing. This YouTube video is cool as.

Writers, it’s time to blaze!

A long time ago in a different writing world, I described myself as “an atheist who quite likes Christmas.” It’s true! I see the winter holidays as a joyous cry, a beating back of the dying of the light. As days in the northern hemisphere grow ever shorter, I’m reminded that joyful holiday blazes help fill us with love and warmth.

P&P’s new two-week prompt starts today

“Blaze Against the Dying of the Light” may inspire stories of Christmas and winter holiday cheer, or it might prompt tales I’m not even imagining. This is YOUR prompt and I hope your inspiration.

So let’s write stories about blazes!
