“Looking Up” Challenge
Since my divorce, I’ve had a hard time keeping my head up; I find myself letting it hang heavy with negative thoughts. But on this day, I decided to change those unfavorable thoughts by looking up!
When I walked home from the park with my kids, I shot this photo and caught the sunset shining on a brilliantly Fall-colored tree above me.
I took a deep fresh breath of the cool air — and kept on walkin’, one foot in front of the other while holding my daughter’s hand.
Sometimes, taking it one step at a time and looking up occasionally is all you can do to keep your balance in life.
“Be grateful for the opportunities, blessings, cleansing, healing, and progress you have experienced. Be inspired by your growth, and your continued focus on what you want to welcome. Be thankful for the transforming mindset that helped you pursue the life you want. As you prepare for your plenty, pray that paths continue to clear, doors swing wide open, and your miracles manifest in abundance.” — Instagram
A special thanks to Anne Bonfert for letting me crash the Looking Up party! I couldn’t let this one pass me by! And as always, thank you to the SNAPSHOTS editorial team:
