Summary

In 2024, the author has decided to forgo setting traditional goals, opting instead for a year without specific goals to embrace spontaneity and natural occurrences.

Abstract

I want to try something very intriguing, even for me!

Over the years, every new year meant a new list of goals, and every end of the year meant a retrospection over those.

It sounds easy and usual for those who want to reach their goals and objectives.

Let me tell you something about me.

I am very open to these ideas that involve a positive mentality, a winner mentality, thinking like a successful man, the concept of being productive and careful with the time we have, lists, plans, schedules, projects, and so on.

But,

I don’t have any year when I have reached all my goals.

At each end of the year, the list remained almost unchanged, with only 2 to 3 goals ticked off here and there. Haha!

Imagine that!

This doesn’t mean that I went through those years without doing anything.

Sometimes, I even felt that some things that happened to me were better than I had planned.

But there have also been year-end moments when frustration overwhelmed me.

That’s why,

this year,

in 2024,

I want to try

something

DIFFERENT.

I’m tired of planning, resolutions, setting goals, scheduling, productivity apps, etc.

I want to do things almost spontaneously and let things happen naturally.

And no one can stop me. Haha!

So my goal for 2024 is NO GOALS! And basta!

I’m very excited about this idea; I am genuinely curious about what will happen by the end of this new year, 2024.

Today, I say no to the pressure of goal and objective lists.

What do you think about this approach?
