Questions Are The Keys
Unlocking Doors of Limiting Beliefs
It’s Not So Important To Believe In Anything —

People often grip tightly to beliefs out of fear — fear of the unknown, fear of losing their mind, fear of not having a framework for their perceptions, fear of not knowing as much as the next guy, of simply not having fuel to duel.
Yet it’s actually not so important to believe in anything. Beliefs are fluid and transitory. They change. They have to do with the kaleidoscopic nature of the world and opinion. Rather, many great wise teachers prescribe being still to know what’s needed to be known in any given moment.
Jesus for instance pointed to a much better way than rote belief. He pointed to what he called the kingdom within, to the voice of the Father who is Spirit of whom we are the branches — a metaphor depicting our souls as an extension of Spirit where we have a direct and personal connection. And Jesus pointed to this Spirit as Teacher and Guide.
Others call this channel of communication “intuition” and recommend meditation as a way to become more attuned to and through it to any understanding we seek.
And more important than beliefs are questions.
Questions are the keys that open the doors which limit our perception, doors that are metaphors for beliefs. Beyond a belief is an infinite realm for exploration. Yet if that vastness is intimidating, we can proceed one small question at a time, questions that we intuitively receive as we are intentionally quiet and attentive to increasing our awareness.
We are all on a journey called “life” which has been likened to the narratives in all great myths and dubbed the “Hero’s Journey” by mythologist Joseph Campbell. We are all potential heroes who can move beyond limiting beliefs by following the breadcrumbs of questions that come to us. We can banish beliefs, deconstruct and demolish them one-by-one as we pursue the awakening awareness of our true nature and begin to know the wonderful expansive and infinite being of love we truly are.
