Being Different Inspires People — Be Different, Not Boring.

The world is better with different, fascinating people around us.

We need people who are different from ourselves. Meeting someone who’s different can stimulate and inspire us to get out of our comfort zone. They can teach us something we never knew. They can show us their view in a way we’ve never seen before. They can take us to places we have never been before.

We can all admit one thing: The world would be boring if we were all the same.

Having people in our lives who are just like us won’t stimulate us.

Rather, we get stimulated intellectually by having people in our lives who are different from us. They may have a different childhood than us and we can learn something different from their upbringing that we didn’t have. They can teach us why having your own business makes you the BOSS than being the slave to a boss. They may talk about important things that everyone is scared to talk about.

They can share stories with us that we can learn and be inspired by.

Being different and unique makes you special.

It makes you stand out to the rest of the crowd.

That’s what makes people remember you.

You’re damn different and unique.

Some will find you weird, and some will find you fascinating.

All the deceased legends still live on in people’s hearts because they were different and unique. There was no one like them. They saw the world differently. They thought differently. They spread out an important message to people that no one talked about. It made them different than the average person. They sparked people’s brain and mindset. They just had a unique aura around them. That’s why people were fascinated by them. That’s why people say “There will never be another one like him/her.”

This is exactly why people are traveling around the world.

We explore NEW cultures, traditions, and languages. We travel to countries. The view of the country is fresh. It’s the city, the people, the language, the culture, the environment, etc. It’s EVERYTHING about the country that makes different for us. It’s new. It’s fresh. It’s mind-blowing for us.

We don’t travel to other countries because they look like the country we come from. We travel to other countries because they look different from our home country. It’s like a whole new world we’re entering. We take pictures of the country we’re currently visiting because it’s different and we won’t see it in our home country after coming back home. That’s what makes us remember the countries we’ve traveled to.

We find a language partner who can teach us the language we’re learning: It’s because our language partner STIMULATES us with something different.

It’s a different language. It’s new for us. It’s fresh for us.

We’re in awe when we see something different and unique.

What do we do when we’re looking for inspiration? We look at something different. We look at people who are different than us.

If you’re different, it doesn’t make you weird, as people would tell you. It means you’re brave and courageous enough to stand out as the person you truly are deep inside. Being different makes other people relate to you.

You may have been born different than other people. You may have two different eye colors. You may have a big birthmark. You may be colorblind. You may be dyslexic. You may be born with one leg. You may be born with a special condition. A rare condition. You feel like you don’t fit in a group, but you do. You fit into a group of people who are different. Your difference can help someone else to feel less lonely in who they are and their situation.

You’re different because you have the courage to take risks that your own family is afraid of taking. You chase your big dreams until you grab them. People such as family and “friends” will ridicule you for having “big dreams” until you’ve achieved your big dreams that no one in your family and friend group has ever done before.

I was told by a relative I was dreaming “too big” and “You have too big dreams” because I expressed that I want to travel overseas to the U.S. when I was 19 years old in 2014. I got no support. Today I traveled overseas to the U.S. as 25 years old in 2019. I’m the first one to travel overseas to my family. I took a risk because I had a different mindset. It took me quite 5 years to travel overseas but I did it. I never forgot that dream and it was such an exciting experience to be on my own and traveling overseas. Scary at first, but exciting. I have no regrets ever since.

You don’t even have to become a doctor because your family pursues you to do it. If your dream job is different than the job of your family and friends, then it means you’re someone who thinks differently. It doesn’t matter how much hate you get. How many people laugh at you for “not thinking realistically” because it is realistic. If other people live the life of their dream, why can’t you? Let people laugh at you for chasing the stars and standing out than the rest of the crowd. In the end, you’re brave enough to be different while other people are afraid of being different. People feel threatened by you because you’re so brave and it triggers them because they don’t have the same level of bravery and courage as you have. They are afraid of being their authentic self.

They don’t have the courage you have.

So stand out and be different.

Because you’ll be remembered. ❤
