I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. Medium writers are some of the coolest and most interesting people on the planet!

I read and comment on at least 5 stories a day, and occasionally I find a new writer who doesn't have any followers. Zero!

When that happens, I jump at my computer so fast to be the first follower I swear the person on the other end can feel the jolt.

Thankfully, I am not alone if my love of being the “first follower.” I recently read a story by A.J. Cralle on why she loves it as well.

It gives me joy because it wasn't that long ago when I received my first follower and I want to be supportive of others.

If you are brand new to Medium, comment below with a link to your first story, and some kind soul will read it and be your first follower.

We got you!
