There are ways to leverage Google video ads and get targeted USA buyer traffic to your affiliate links. But you have to create “bridge pages” as mentioned earlier. Your Own Blog.

Google Sites.

Your own blog can redirect to several affiliate products, as can the Canva one-page websites and Google sites. But we’re not going to dive into creating bridge pages. Because there are countless videos that will show you how to create these bridge pages. If you do not have your own hosted blog, then the 2 alternative options will do just fine.

You can choose to create bridge pages exclusively for one affiliate offer only. Or you can choose to include more than one but be moderate. Always include a curious description of the offer, like the benefits and bonuses for instance. Where available, also include testimonials. Use the material provided with your affiliate promotional content.

As illustrated below, you want to run a Google video ad to generate sales, therefore, next, you select the option “video”. Always remember that videos under 3 minutes perform much better than longer videos. With some Creative Commons License affiliate product presentation videos, you might want to shorten them with a tool like Canva.

But before you do that we strongly advise getting permission from the video owner first. You can usually contact them via email from their “About” page on their YouTube channel. We once contacted a video creator and asked if he would mind us including our own watermark. He responded in kind and said he had no problem with it.

Daily Budget (Min 450 South African Rand / $24)

Start And End Date.

Focus on Top-Tier countries because it assures affordability, especially with high-ticket affiliate marketing (Commissions above $100 to $200). That forms part of the “GEO Location” and targeted USA buyer traffic as a result of it. It is also important to select the language your video is in, that way targeting only “English” speaking individuals for instance.

For the Google video ad “bid strategy” with this beginner's guide. The minimum budget allowed per day is around 450 South African Rands. That amounts to around $24. Therefore, in dollars, we would recommend a $25 per day budget. You can also set your start and end date, running your Google video ad for as long as you can afford.

Next, you add your 5 “Asset” URLs or bridge pages. This is why we love Google video ads and decided to write this beginner's guide. You can get USA-targeted buyer traffic to 6 different URLs including your YouTube video for increased views and responses. When you add your “audience interests”, be sure they are related to your affiliate products.

As illustrated above, to “add your video URL”, you want to go to your “Channel Content” area. Click on the 3 dots and you will see the drop-down menu. Click on the “Get Sharable Link” and the URL will automatically be copied to your clipboard. Then you simply paste it into your Google video ad as the video URL.

Before we move on, just a little something about the “Interest Targeting”. When you choose an interest, be sure it is available in the Google ads’ drop-down menu. When a drop-down menu does not present your chosen interest or variants thereof. Then you want to play around with your target interest phrases until it does.
