Abstract

<p id="6f72">Last week my partner learned that a colleague he was working with had Covid-19 and as a close contact there was a good chance that he would be caught which of course put me at risk, but it’s been a week now. <b>Fortunately, we still feel good.</b></p><p id="74df">We were so close to Covid!</p><p id="f736">I seem to see the helpless eyes of the virus. Beauty Is Everywhere

You just need to pay attention to it

I happened to see the above two photos in the album. Their colors caught my eye, one was a cool blue, the other a warm pink. Both photos are like oil paintings.

They were taken at the same location but at a different time.

It was last September in Switzerland; we took a walk along a river after dinner in the evening. The blue one was taken when we went there, the pink one was taken when we came back.

Both photos were locked in my phone album for a year before I finally noticed. I was amazed at the infinite diversity of nature and wondered how I could ignore this beauty for such a long time.

They seem to be reminding me not to overlook the joys in life.

September 10th is the Moon Festival in China, and I unexpectedly received a blessing from a friend.

I remember the last time we met in 2016 when she and her boyfriend were planning to get married. After that, I haven’t heard from her anymore. Six years later, we are in touch again.

What a happy moment it is!

One more thing to be thankful for.
