Abstract

the few activities he did attempt he picked up quick. He’s a Shepherd/Retriever mix so he’s pretty smart. He’s also a loudmouth. He’ll bark at the slightest noise and hide when there’s a loud noise. I don’t know how that works with his protective nature but he is very protective too. He likes to follow me around like he’s my own shadow.

This photo is one of my favorites of him because his shadow looks more like a bunny than a dog. I’ve been known to call him “half cat” because he’ll jump on the couch and perch on top of the back cushions like a cat. Bunny, Bear, Half Cat, of all the names he’s been given, he’s the bestest boy.

Thanks Mary Chang Story Writer, <a href="

Bear or Bunny?

September Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Shadows”

What kind of animal is that?

Bear has always been a little afraid of his own shadow, even when he’s trying to rule the roost.

When we signed him and his partner in crime up for puppy classes years ago, he pretty much tuned out as soon as we got there, curling up and sleeping through most of the class. Although the few activities he did attempt he picked up quick.
