nearly my entire life. These two creatures are very dear to my heart. They are not just cats to me, but family. We’ve been through break ups, relocations, sadness, anger and happiness. I would not have made it to this point in my life without their love and support. Hi! I’m a 28 year old dreamer that’s trying to make her way through life one moment at a time. I spent a good portion of my life living the way I thought society expects us to. Boy, was I wrong.

Life is so full of opportunities for everyone. I just wish I could have realized this earlier in life. I’m still thankful for the discovery of it, though. I spent many years managing in the retail and restaurant world feeling unfulfilled everyday of my life. It just wasn’t doing it for me. I was always missing something.

One day, I decided to take on a less stressful job and begin writing again. What most people don’t realize about me is that I’ve been writing since I was in the third grade. I wrote a series of books on notebook paper called The Adventures of Max and Shelley. It’s cute when I look back on it now. I stapled all the pages together like a book and it had chapters. I had always known what my love was and was just too scared to pursue it, until one day I just did. I decided enough was enough and went for it. It feels great.

My cats and cats in general.

I’ve always identified with cats more than any other animal. It’s the main reason why I’ve been surrounded by cats nearly my entire life. These two creatures are very dear to my heart.
