Battle for the Light
Walking in the forest bed, Flowers bloom, as I step. Blooming flowers come my way. Hold my hand. Bring hope into my day. Walk with me on my forever path. Jumping frogs show me the part, Through the water safely at bay. Flying bees gather tonight, Bringing nurturing honey at might. The life-giving nectar reaches my throat, My eyes open, Lightening struck. The quiet voice begins to speak. In the Surrounding gentleness encouraging ferns bobble in agreement. We are here tonight. We stand united. Handed down the knowledge from the in-between. Where do we go from here? We can fight the Inner battle to follow the light. Asking the universe: Guide me to hope and delight. Show me the steps toward the light. Oneness screams, Come my way, my child. See with your open mind, What is coming when people are without mind. Destruction hit, yet there is a way. Let me show you, here, today. Be gentle and kind my little delight. Listen to nature and look deep inside. Look into the depths of your soul. You will find: The picture of all humanity Written on your heart with golden light. Embedded by sacred love. See it now? We have always been: We are all one. No reason to fight. All you need to do: Follow your heart, it will Lead you to the light. 4/3/23 GK
