A great day for a jog. Photo by Rose Cao

It’s been snowing for a day. The temperature was below 0°C (36°F).

Perfect. I waited for so long. 10 cm (4 in) of fresh snow. The Sun is up!

Time to feel it! Woohoo!

How does jogging barefoot in the snow feel?

  • Burning. Feels hot!
  • Crazy energy, you feel supercharged
  • Connected to earth

Can you try it?

The short answer is ‘NO’.

You need months or years of preparation. Dr Mehmet Yildiz is an example. He’s the only person I know on Medium who can do it. Do you know anyone else?

Imagine taking cold showers for years. Enjoying this high energy.
