Every year, the Australian Homeschooling Summit presents an incredible panel of speakers who inspire, motivate, and help you connect with the community.

I am so excited to have been invited to present a workshop answering the ever so common question “What about socialisation?”.

Social skill development is an important part of childhood which doesn’t get a lot of time in the spotlight until someone starts talking about home educating their child. Then it gets all the attention. We all want our children to grow up happy, healthy and connected. Connected within their family and within their community.

Playmates, Acquaintances, and Friends all play different roles in our lives and are equally important. Join me in this workshop as I answer your questions about how we provide opportunities for our children for play, friendship, growth, connection, self-empowerment, and more as we unpack socialisation in home education.
