Dara relaxes her bowstring slightly. “We’re all tested by the Fates. And we’ll all be judged when the Eternal Night comes for us…”
She hands you a child’s toy — you recognize it!
“Where…?”
Dara points into the thick woods. “Friends are already scouting an ingress.”
She grabs your tunic — and holds a blade to your throat!
“You will help me to free everyone, do you understand?”
You nod sheepishly. She hands you a bow and quiver.
You understand — Dara hasn’t forgiven you — there are simply graver matters at hand.
You follow Dara Blackfeather into the darkness of the woods, circumspect.
