FLIGHT
Don’t you remember looking up at the sky as a child every time a plane flew by? I do, but I didn’t want to limit this contest to airplanes. So, the theme of flight is just that: it can be a little bumble bee or even a dragon, as long as something is flying.
There’s no “feel” required. You’re the artist; make the art the way you want.
All mediums are welcome, even AI art. The Showcase strongly believes that even behind AI art is an artist. There will be no favoritism between handmade and AI art in either direction.
Here’s the rules you’ll need to follow:
- Create some piece of art incorporating this month’s theme
- Publish the art with The Showcase
- There are no size requirements
- All art must be “Safe For Work.”
Each story should have a description and/or a story. However, the story will not be considered when deciding the winner. It’s just always nice to hear from the artist about their art. Please keep the story to 100 words or less.
It’s not a requirement, but I highly recommend adding a link to any of The Showcase’s contest posts to grow this and increase cash prizes, including runner-ups, as part of the payout.
To enter, all you have to do is respond to either this post or the original announcement, and I’ll add you as a writer for The Showcase. Once you’re a writer, you can submit work for any of our contests. Now, who’s ready to win some cash?!
Notable Dates:
- January 23rd at 11:59 pm Eastern is the last minute to enter
- January 24th, I’ll post a link to all entries
- January 31st, I’ll announce the winner
- Payment will be via Paypal within one week of the winner’s announcement
- February 1st will start our next contests
