Are You Feeling Adventurous This April, Challengers?
Writing prompts for every day in April

It’s almost a new month. You know what that means?
Another challenge. For the OG clan/gang/tribe/squad/crew, we’re three months in and a whopping 89 stories deep.
89 stories. That’s 44,500 words. That’s half a bloody novel.
We’ve welcomed some incredible writers — some who’ve been supportive and kind and lovely and some who were just…. not. And of course, we’ve welcomed a few dippers.
dipper noun:
a dipper is one who enjoys the idea of a challenge but cannot possibly sustain the habit of writing every single day; a dipper may choose to dip in and out of the prompts when inspiration calls or time permits.
Remember how I said I find it easier to write prompts when they’re based around a specific theme… Last month was Irish, lucky and green, February was obviously love…
Well, guess what April is?
It’s National Poetry Month.
(According to Google).
What’dya reckon? Are you feeling adventurous?
Whether you’re a dipper, dabbler or seasoned veteran, here are the prompts for April.
There’s a limit of 500 words but you can interpret the topics anyway you like. Leave me a comment on this post if you’re up for the challenge and don’t forget to tag me in your responses.
Just to add a little something to the prompts, I used some awareness days as prompt inspo.
