Do you feel like every day you are drowning in constant negativity?

Some days it’s hard to get out of bed.

The sun still comes up around us and if you look up into the heavens, everything looks peaceful, but here on earth there’s chaos.

After we absorb all the negativity surrounding us, it drains our energy and all I want to do is pull the blankets over my head!

Looking for comfort and direction from my mother as I did when I was a child.

My mother isn’t here to shield me from all the nasty things that are thrown at us each day. She isn’t here to help guide me.

Instead, I listen to the media and social media platforms and ingest even more negativity.

How much can you stand before you think your head is going to explode?

How Do You Counter the Effects of Negativity?

We all need some kind of activity as a buffer.

The year 2020 was filled with negativity and anxiety and we all added a new fashion accessory as a face mask.

A new market was formed for hand sanitizer. That’s supposed to make you feel safe.

So much stress was created when shelves were empty of toilet tissue and hand sanitizer. Remember those days?

Do you really need the government to tell you to wash your hands?

I saw a commercial for Lysol saying that it kills Covid. Why not buy Lysol spray and spray yourself all over with it?

A mask causes breathing problems for some people, also skin break outs and I don’t know about you, but I’m not up for adult acne!

More anxiety causes more negativity.

We are finally able to go mask less and see everyone’s face again, though in my area a few are still wearing a mask.

At no time in my life did I ever think I would experience America locked down because of a virus.

And being told to stay home and be isolated, don’t go out to eat or shop, more negativity and anxiety everywhere. Killing small business left and right.

Most of us cannot tolerate isolation and being alone for a long period of time.

Being without our friends and socializing is just not doable. So, if we are alone we turn to social media, TV news or whatever we can connect with.
