Longing for a moment of your own,

hankering after a day to invent,

experiment, learn something new.

A time when life ran dull to bright;

every exquisite nuance between.

You felt the blood in your veins

quicken then calm.

A constant state of flux,

the enemy of your heart.

Trust built on acts repeated,

being there to being bold,

regardless of betrayals, we must.

Capture time to imagine and plot

gather thoughts, appreciate love

return refreshed. Behold your ship

afloat, every sailor safe aboard.
