Times are tough, I know
Are We Destroying Ourselves?
About The Coming Collapse
IIt’s no secret. There’s a heavy fog hanging over many these days — I talk about society, family life, and individuals who feel lost, hopeless, anxious, angry, sad, and are demanding change.
My Current Individual Challenges:
Aside from transformative shifts in how I perceive the world and expand in consciousness, I also have simpler things to go through currently:
In my group Zen Meditation yesterday, a lot came up regarding my family. A lot of surpressed emotions, some anger, some fear, and a lot of feeling unseen for who I am. Anyone else feeling like this too?
But then, something small yet impactful happened — my mom bought a book about highly sensitive people.
For the first time, it felt like a part of my family was really trying to understand how I see and perceive the world. This simple act gives me hope.
Hope in people wanting to understand what is really going on. Not just in society but in individuals who didn’t fit in, in individuals who always felt like something was different or their perception of the world felt alien.
The Broader Picture: Society’s Struggles
When I look at the broader state of society, my pain may be nothing in comparison to what so many are going through: losing people close to them, losing homes to climate disasters, floods, and wildfires, massive migration of people due to climate changes in foreign countries, and many, many other challenges that would take too long to list here.
I wish all of you who are going through something a lot of power, clarity, wisdom, and hope to get through what you’re facing. I am here if someone needs to talk!
I hope I could help somebody with my writing today.
Let’s not kid ourselves, society’s in a rough spot. But just like my personal struggles, maybe society’s troubles can lead to some good changes. Sometimes, when you hit a low point, the only way to go is up.
High Sensitivity to Outside Influences Is Your Strength
If you’ve ever felt like the world’s chaos sinks deeper into you than most, you’re not alone.
Books like ‘The Map of Consciousness’ and ‘The Law of One’ offered me insights I was desperate for.
I’m inclined to think this sensitivity is more of a lens than a flaw — a way to witness the finer intricacies of life, both its light and its shadows.
But let’s not forget: we’re not in this alone.
Society’s wounds are also part of our wounds.
The collective feels the pull of strife, of division.
Yet, like in our personal lives, these struggles are signposts, not dead-ends. They point us toward the deeper work that needs to be done.
It’s as if the Universe is asking, “Will you become more than what you are?” And perhaps that’s the silver lining in our personal and collective struggles.
They offer us a choice — to remain or to evolve.
Hope: The Ultimate Alchemist
And here lies the cornerstone of hope. Not a passive wish, but an active engagement with reality.
It’s a cosmic invitation to break open dark patterns, to transmute pain into wisdom, and chaos into a higher order.
Rock bottom may be the time when we learn and grow the most.
When it comes to society, if you zoom out far enough, perhaps our collective challenges are a call to action. We’re urged to shift, to evolve, and to connect more deeply with each other.
Does that make the struggle easier? Not necessarily. But knowing that pain might have a purpose makes it more bearable.
So, are we destroying ourselves? Maybe a bit. I think we’re sculpting — painstakingly chiseling away the unnecessary to reveal something far more beautiful within.
These struggles could be the push we need to become better — both as people and as a society.
