Anti-Vaxxers — Give up Your Selfishness, Stupidity & Hypocrisy
Friends, family & others should not die due to your feelings. Your reasons are contradicted by your actions.
Attitude
Anti-Vaxxers claim that the vaccine was rushed or the government is trying to control them. A few may actually be allergic, but that is extremely rare. Studies show 6 in 1 million.
For this article, the term “you” refers to an anti-vaxxer, not necessarily the reader.
#1 - Rushed
Everything approved by the FDA must go through a standard series of tests, i.e., clinical trials, before approval. COVID vaccines were no different. If they didn’t have to do that, they would have been available many months sooner.
Have you ever taken a prescription, like an antibiotic or pain killer? They went through clinical trials. So,
If you have ever taken a prescription, and are an anti-vaxxer, You are a hypocrite!
#2 - Government Control
So, you don’t want the government to control you and will not submit to it! Really?
When out driving, did you stop at a red light this week? Why? That is the most direct government control in daily life. You should have run every light, preferably at 70 mph.
You stopped? Why? Because you might have had a wreck, and injured or killed someone? What do you care if you endanger others.
The anti-vaxxer individual may not hurt themself or others, but as a group, they are pushing this summer surge. They kill themselves, others who follow them, and people who couldn’t get into an over-occupied hospital clogged with anti-vaxxers with their heads in the sand. Over 60,000 died in August.
If you did not run red lights, then you voluntarily submitted to government control.
If you do not run red lights, and are an anti-vaxxer, You are a hypocrite!
Anti-maskers aren’t much different. They want to subject others to higher risks while they refuse to do the same for themselves on the highways.
Conclusion
Many other activities could have been used as examples, but these are simple enough that most readers will understand them.
Of course, fanatics are never convinced by logic, science, or live demonstrations. They already know everything, and even on their deathbed from COVID, won’t change their mind. The doctor lies and they are really dying from something else.
It comes down to this:
Ignorance can be fixed, Stupidity can’t.
One must listen with an open mind, with a possibility of change, to belong in the ignorance group.
