Cats, Photography

And We Both Wore Crowns

Miss Uma Zooma Angelwings’ photoshoot

You’ll have to pardon me if I am sharing too many photos of Miss Uma Zooma Angelwings and her birthday crown. I may be overly-amused by my cat. But these just made me laugh and I thought that you might find them funny too. I took this photo in the afternoon:

It required quite a lot of dexterity and quick reflexes to position the phone and have my thumb ready to take the photo with one hand while I quickly “crowned” Miss Uma with the other. She doesn’t look too thrilled with the whole thing. But I think that she knows that she looked pretty.

So, for the big kitty birthday bash with Freyja and Bisou, I decided to put on a tiara (not to upstage the crown or anything) so that my girl and I could sort of match.

My husband pulled out his phone and we attempted a “Mommy and Uma photoshoot.” I’m not sure that we got anything spectacular. But I think that some of these might make you laugh.

My husband think she looks like one of those really cute, pudgy babies being held up for a photo. I think she may be a little too “spicey” for that. But we love our Uma’s spiciness. It’s part of what makes her special.
