Tommy-

I know I’m a day late. But I love you, man. I do. I have been trying to find the right time to tell you. And last Sunday after you made those two game-changing passes at me — I just knew. I may not be a serious man, but I know a pass when I see one. And those passes meant something.

I said to myself,

Gronk — open your eyes. Tom is clearly trying to make a connection with you. He wants to take this all the way.

I know you feel the same way, Tommy. We are an amazing team. The best. And if we want to, we can do anything. We can take this leap together. We can be the greatest couple to ever live. We can be “Bronkowski”.

Just look at what we were able to do together last weekend. We made history. You and I. Together we connected on more touchdown passes than any other pair out there including Montana and Rice (or “Mice” if we are combining last names).

That means something.

And look at all those great years we’ve had together. We’ve collected a lot of rings. You a few more than me. We’ve played together for a decade (me aging, you getting younger). And we’ve won playoffs against a bunch of birds, some rams and a city.

Now, I know I’m no Giselle. But you could do worse. And looks aren’t everything.

What’s important is that you make me better Tommy. You really do. And I know I make you better too.

And yes, there was that time that I took back your Christmas present and re-gifted it — but pranks aside, I will always fight for you. I will catch whatever you dish out. And I promise to go the distance for you.

I’m that guy Tommy.

When I left you two years ago, my heart was heavy. I wanted to tell you how I felt, but I was hurting and didn’t want any more pain in my life. So, I sat by the phone in hopes that you would call me to come back to you.

And my wish has come true. You reached out. And look what a year we’ve had.

Our journey has been momentous. And with each passing season, I know that you and I are destined to be together.

So, let me take a quick knee on this field and ask you one incredibly important question,

Will you let me be your tight end forever? To have and to hold, until death do us part?

Please say I do Tommy!

And then let’s make it official with another ring.

Gronk
