An Anthropomorphic Poem

My message, as a poem.

If I was a poem…

I’d wait like a sowbug under a rock a treasure to any who uncovered me and took some time to deeply see as I waved semaphore antenna messages.

I’d beam like the first 65 degree day, come end of a too-long winter. No shudder, no shade, just bask, feel heat on your face anew.

I’d capture a green-blue wave’s sand-shore crash so vivid, a reader of no ocean experience could feel the spray, taste salt on skin.

I’d have my own measure of success I’d hibernate among must and dust I’d be patient until eyes found me I’d reward minds, I’d lift eye blinds.

If I was a poem.
