An Abundance of Holiday Cheer

Finding new ways of connecting

Scents of cinnamon wafting through the air, Ginger and cloves show up with fanfare, A connection across the miles, Will bring us all smiles.

Stringing popcorn to dress up the tree, We will chat and engage with glee, Creating memories to last, We enjoy the present, no future or past.

Forming a scented dough, Stars are all in a row, Stringing them up on the tree, We will enjoy this season happily.

Filling in shapes from a kit, Ornaments that delight and sit, On the branches of green, They are a delight to be seen.

We had a delightful chat with my sister-in-law last night that lives in Connecticut. She suggested that during our holiday break, we could do some crafts together over zoom. We are delighted to share a connection with her across the miles and enjoy some old fashioned craft projects. We will be making gingerbread houses, cinnamon dough ornaments, popcorn, and cranberry garlands, and ornaments from a fun kit. On my 100-day journey exploring abundance, I thought this was a great way to enjoy some holiday cheer with family and be creative too!

My prayer and my intention for you today is that you think of creative ways to celebrate this season. No matter what holiday you enjoy this time of year, there is something creative you can do.
