Cade’s gaze met Ella’s, uncertainty mirroring in their eyes. “Are we ready?” he murmured, the storm in his gaze swirling with doubt.
Ella, her fingers entwined with the earth’s pulse, hesitated. “I… I don’t know,” she admitted, her voice a soft echo of nature’s whisper.
Thorne, cloaked in the shadows, nodded slowly. “It’s now or never. But remember, it’s not just about the attack. It’s about why we’re doing this.”
“We do this for Etheria,” Ella breathed, finding courage in her connection to the land.
“For Etheria,” they echoed, stepping from the shadows, no longer hesitating but united in purpose.
