Amazing Article Repurposing Secrets: The Best First 3 Steps

Plus 3 pro tips just for you…

In my most recent article I introduced you to 11 of my “members done great.” Check them out here to see what they can do for you!

The Best First 3 Repurposing Steps

Step 1: Create for value

Creating content is all about creating value. Here’s the question to keep in mind as your creating your articles:

“In how many ways is this going to add value to the life of the reader?

Pro Tip: “Chunk Articles” make it so easy to repurpose: 3 mistakes, 3 myths, or 3 secrets, 3 steps.

Step 2: Repurpose for promotion

Playing off the “pro tip” above, “chunks” make it super easy to repurpose pieces of an article to promote the entire article.

Take just one of the chunks and repurpose it into a tweet, update, TikTok vid, Insta post, etc. and invite them to the rest of the article.

Pro Tip: After you publish an article, you can go back in, highlight a piece of your article, click that little birdie, and repurpose it to Twitter. I do this a few times a day for the first 3 days of the life of an article.

The blue highlight is what I just repurposed to Twitter. The other color (whatever it is) comes from readers highlighting parts of my article.

Step 3: Repurpose for profit

“What? You can do that?!?”

Can. And should.

Instead of staring at a blank screen when you’re creating a product, start with an already created article and expand on it.

The 3 steps of this article can easily be repurposed into a:

  • 3 chapter ebook
  • 3 module mini-course
  • Paid webinar
  • And so very much more!

Pro Tip: Begin to look at your articles with this question in mind:

“In how many ways can this article be repurposed into a digital product?”

I’ve created “a few” other article trainings on repurposing. Here’s 10 of the best I’ve gathered together for you:
