Allergens

A challenge and two funny poems (I hope!)

I bought myself some shredded cheese, because I shop for one, as I please, ’twas a bad idea, I happen to be a lactose intolerant, who can sneeze…

at about anything that flowers, they have such allergic powers: in spring I hibernate it’s just my horrid fate, to hide in Rapunzel’s tower.

Thank you to Michael Burg, MD (AKA Medium Michael Burg) for tagging me in this challenge!

This was such a stretch — and I definitely needed to push forward the poem in order to make the stretch with the third “-eeze” rhyme.

Limericks are hard! But hopefully I’m getting there, one poem at a time. One sneeze at a time. One poor grocery purchase at a time.

Hi I’m Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她) and I’m allergic to pollen, ragweed and cheese (all of which are allergies I would like to someday unsubscribe from).
