All Good Things Must Come to an End

It’s time to get back on the road once more.

Friday was a special day. I had arranged for it. A friend of mine worked at a nursing home for special needs elderly. She wanted me to share my story with them to give them hope and inspiration.

I didn’t know what I was going to find what I did. It made my day to put a smile on the faces of some of these older kids with my balloon magic. A lady was celebrating her 98th birthday, and a guy had an early 93rd.

I am sharing the video in Just for fun.

After leaving the Senior home and having brunch with my son, I headed to the airport. My daughter and her mother were returning from Canada later. I decided to go there early and watch the planes land and take off. I took over a couple of hundred photos; mostly, I shot airplanes, but there were some photos of real birds too.

As I think back and ponder.

While everything didn’t go according to plan, does it ever in life, I had a wonderful week away from the road to rest, relax, and reconnect with friends, family, and community.

It was an excellent opportunity to refocus on the purpose of my walk, thanks to my Toastmasters friends.

After returning from the airport, I had to get all my packing done for the morning when I would leave on Greyhound for Joplin and continue my walk from where I left off.

Stay blessed and be happy, my friends.
